2.1 Licensing and Permits

With assistance from GIFEC, ICON360 is due to obtain the final license from the National Communications Authority (“NCA”), regulators of the telecommunications sector in Ghana. The license would approve ICON360’s business of developing and managing cell sites (“Towers”) in Ghana.

Structure

ICON360 Company Ghana Limited is a subsidiary of ICON Systems USA an Illinois based company that specializes in Information and Telecommunications Technology; Civil, Construction and Materials Engineering consulting; establishing linkages and representing overseas companies to expand their business and services to Africa. ICON Systems USA has been in business for over ten years and has major clients such as AT&T, Nicor Gas Solutions, Comcast, Vodafone, MTN, GOIL and many other local African companies by sourcing and equipping them with IT and engineering consulting services.

ICON360 commenced operations in Ghana as an external company in 2016. Subsequently, the Company was incorporated in Ghana in accordance with the Companies Act (ACT 763), 1963 in September 2017, as a limited liability company.

The main objective of the company is to leverage on its rich experience in the USA to deliver business services in the following areas:

Project design and implementation
Project management services; and
Provision of business solutions to its specific clients.
Tower Construction
Tower Maintenance
Bring local and foreign companies together for supply chain business expansion
Provision of materials engineering advisory services to local construction companies

In line with its objectives, ICON360 offers communication technology and networking services to mobile network operating companies, internet service providers /operators in Ghana.
